The Public Choice Award shows which insurance products customers like and trust. In 2026, Pillow Vehicle Insurance became the number one choice for car and motorcycle owners and operators. Its excellent rating from visitors to the Finparáda website is also reflected in its strong business success: Pillow is the fastest-growing insurance company in Czechia, currently serving more than 300,000 clients.

In the competition run by the expert financial website Finparáda, Pillow has won silver for its Pillow Vehicle Insurance for the second time. This is the only objective ranking of financial products on the Czech market, where Pillow demonstrated its key strengths: the clearest insurance terms and conditions, a fair discount based on mileage, and the ability to easily take out and amend insurance online.
Bank of the Year 2025
Category: Insurtech of the Year, 2nd place
In the Czech Bank of the Year competition, which recognises outstanding products and companies in the financial sector, Pillow took 2nd place in the Insurtech of the Year category. The award is presented by experts from the Czech Insurtech Association. Pillow stood out thanks to its fully digital processes, which enabled it to adapt its offering for the Slovak market in just six months and reach new clients in record time.

Category: Motor Hull Insurance, 1st place
In 2025, Pillow also scored highly in the motor hull insurance category, where it took 1st place against much larger insurers. Customers appreciated the fairness of the offer: no fixed packages, but a flexible insurance building-block system where everyone chooses only what they truly need. This is exactly what makes Pillow’s offer unique on the Slovak market.

Category: MTPL Insurance, 1st place
In the FinReport competition, where the results are decided by customers themselves, Pillow took 1st place in the MTPL insurance category. The win was driven by its unique discount for low-mileage vehicles, an excellent range of supplementary insurance options, such as unlimited cover for all vehicle glass, and easy insurance management through the mobile app or web portal.

Category: Most Innovative Insurance Company
In 2025, Pillow won the prestigious Most Innovative Insurance Company award in the Slovak Zlatá minca competition, whose results are decided by an expert jury of financial professionals. The award confirms Pillow’s role as an innovative leader in vehicle insurance on the Slovak market. Pillow is the only insurance company in Slovakia to offer unique insurance with a discount based on mileage.

Finparáda is the only financial product competition that evaluates insurance based on objectively measurable criteria, such as price competitiveness, clarity of insurance terms and conditions, and product benefits. Across all these criteria, Pillow Vehicle Insurance was rated as well above average. The competition is organised by Scott & Rose, an independent data analytics company.

A supplementary award presented as part of the Financial Product of the Year competition, based on ratings from the public. In strong competition, Pillow defended its first place from the previous year with its vehicle insurance priced according to mileage, an iOS and Android mobile app, and the option to cancel insurance at each payment date, not just once a year.

Category: Most Customer-Friendly Non-Life Insurance Company, 2nd place
The award is presented annually by Hospodářské noviny, a Czech business daily published by Economia. The winners are selected based on real, measurable data evaluated by an independent analytics company. Pillow Insurance scored highly thanks to its unique vehicle and property insurance products and the high level of digitalisation of its services. At just five years old, it outperformed even insurance companies with more than a century of history.
Deloitte Fast 50 2024
Category: 50 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies
This prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies from 19 countries in Central and Eastern Europe is announced every year by Deloitte. Placement in the Top 50 is determined by a single figure: revenue growth over the past three years. Pillow is the only insurance company to have appeared in this ranking in recent years. In 2024, it ranked 40th with growth of 881%.

Category: Insurtech of the Year, 2nd place
The Bank of the Year competition evaluates both banks and insurance companies. It also includes the Insurtech of the Year category, where an expert jury made up of Czech fintech experts selects unique technology companies. Pillow’s second-place ranking means it is the only insurance company to have made it into the Top 3.

Category: Discovery of the Year
Zlatá minca is an independent and highly transparent Slovak competition for financial products, where the rankings in each category are decided by an expert jury made up of financial professionals. In 2024, Pillow, as a complete newcomer to the Slovak market, won the Discovery of the Year award for its vehicle insurance product with pricing based on mileage.

A competition based on voting by real consumers. Visitors to the Slovak FinReport portal select the insurance company with which they have the given product insured and then rate their satisfaction on a points scale. After just one year on the market, Pillow managed to win 3rd place among major market players in the category recognising motor hull insurance.

The Public Choice Award in the Finparáda competition is presented to the product that receives the best ratio of number of ratings to average score from Finparáda visitors, while also meeting a minimum number of ratings. In 2023, Pillow Insurance won this award in the vehicle insurance category for its revolutionary vehicle insurance with a discount based on mileage.

Pillow scored highly in the Best Insurance Company competition organised by Hospodářské noviny for the third time, this time taking 1st place in the Insurance Innovator category for its property insurance with an underinsurance shield. Pillow Insurance showed that, just as vehicle or personal insurance can be improved in a revolutionary way, change is also possible in such a traditional service as property insurance.

In the prestigious Insurance Innovator category, Pillow won with its breakthrough personal insurance product, which can be easily arranged online. The new Pillow accident and sickness insurance offered, and continues to offer, financial support for all major life situations, such as disability, serious illness, incapacity for work, or permanent consequences caused by an accident or illness. This was the second consecutive win for the youngest Czech insurance company.

In the 12th edition of the Best Insurance Company competition, organised by the business daily Hospodářské noviny, Pillow Insurance took 1st place as Insurance Innovator of the Year 2020. The victory was driven by Pillow’s completely new vehicle insurance. Key innovations and client benefits included pricing based on mileage, the first fully digital insurance product, fixed or zero excess, and unlimited vehicle glass insurance.
Zlatá koruna 2020
Category: Social Responsibility Award
The winners of the Zlatá koruna competition in the Social Responsibility Award category are decided by the public through a population survey. In the 18th edition, Pillow Insurance took 1st place with its unique vehicle insurance priced according to mileage. If the insured vehicle cannot be used by its owner, for example due to illness, quarantine, unemployment, or similar reasons, Pillow refunds the money for unused kilometres.
