We’re thrilled to announce that the Supervisory Board at Pillow has a new addition! We warmly welcome Adam Šoukal, whose extensive experience and strategic insights will be invaluable as we continue on our mission to reshape the insurance landscape and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Adam holds degrees from Mendel University in Brno and the CAH University of Applied Sciences in Dronten, Netherlands. He began his career as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Prague and later moved to London to work with Santander Bank, where he served as Head of the Corporate Credit Team in global M&A. Most of his professional career, however, has been dedicated to Roger a.s., a payment institution he founded in 2013 and continues to lead as CEO. Roger a.s. provides small and medium-sized enterprises with innovative solutions to unlock capital tied up in long-term receivables, offering a crowdfunding alternative to traditional bank factoring. This platform is a lifeline for businesses that seek flexible financing solutions outside the conventional banking system. Adam’s leadership in fintech and financial innovation aligns seamlessly with Pillow’s vision.
Adam joins the Supervisory Board, replacing Sonia Slavtcheva, who has been a remarkable asset to Pillow over the past two years. With her background at Allianz and Rohlík Group, Sonia brought a wealth of expertise and an inspiring presence to our team, helping drive our unique journey forward. She has now decided to pursue an exciting new career opportunity outside the Czech Republic. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sonia for her contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
Thank you, Sonia, and welcome aboard, Adam! Together, let’s continue redefining the future of insurance, embracing fresh ideas, driving meaningful change, and making insurance simpler, fairer, and more accessible for everyone.
